The Science Museum in London was always a favourite destination for Rachel and Dave, even before they met. In recent years the Science Museum has opened their doors one evening a month for themed adult only evenings. It was one of these events on Wednesday 28th August 2013 that Rachel and Dave made the fateful decision to go.
With a theme of food, Rachel and Dave ended up standing next to each other in a queue for liquid nitrogen ice cream, and some small talk later they decided to go out for a drink.
Holidays, Christmas', Cosplay, anniversaries, long distance, moving in together all happened over the following 4 years, then in September 2017 Rachel and Dave went on holiday to Australia, where Dave proposed whilst they were in the outback, using a special TARDIS themed ring.
Not content with planning a wedding, Rachel and Dave returned from Australia and set about buying their house in North London. Only then did they begin actually planning their wedding. Oh and welcoming their cat Astro to their household.
And then 2020 happened....
Unfortunately the Covid19 pandemic meant that Rachel and Dave had to change their plans from Summer 2020 until Autumn 2021. Like many couples, Rachel & Dave spent a lot of time together in 2020. And despite seeing each other all day, every day, they still very much want to get married!
